Mapleton Medical Centre now offers 100% Bulk Billing GP consults for ALL PATIENTS. This means that if you have a valid Medicare card, there is\u00a0no out-of-pocket cost\u00a0for your GP consultation.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Note: Some procedures or services not covered under standard GP consultations may attract a fee.<\/i><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Mapleton Medical Centre was established in 1981 by Dr Danny Cocks and Dr Ian Matthews. Since then, it has been at the forefront of providing primary medical services to Mapleton and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n

The practice was taken over by Prime Medical Group in 2017 and currently has five General Practitioners working at the centre. There is also a professional nursing team and friendly administration staff who service 100 patients a day.<\/p>\n

This clinic is committed to providing comprehensive general practice care to all individuals and families in this community. All patient consultations and medical records are strictly confidential, and we have a policy to protect patient privacy in compliance with the privacy legislation.<\/p>\n

We all understand the importance of continuity of care, and encourage you to see the same general Practitioner (GP) where appropriate. It helps if you book ahead, rather than wait until the last day to make an appointment, so that you can see your usual GP.<\/p>\n

Dr Raewyn graduated in Medicine from the University of Queensland in 1988 and has completed a four year course of General Practice training. She is a member of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Dr James has experience in Paediatrics, emergency medicine, psychiatry and women\u2019s health issues with a special interest in minor procedures, cryotherapy, migraine and asthma. Outside of work she enjoys touring, gardening and crafts and has a love of animals and the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Mariana is a physician who received her medical degree from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Brazil where she had over 3 years of experience in General Practice. She began her career in Brazil and later moved to Australia, where she has been working as a senior house officer at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for the past two years.<\/p>\n

Dr Anjie graduated in medicine from Lady Harding Medical College in New Delhi, India. She has specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from a premier institute in her country. She joined our Practice in August 2018. Her special interests are in women\u2019s health, geriatrics, preventative care and other aspects of general practice. Anjie practices full time at Mapleton Medical Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Charlotte ( MbCHb, MRCEM, PgDip Derm ) is a fully registered medical practitioner in Australia, Hong Kong, and the United Kingdom. After completing the medical degree in 2018, Hong Kong, she had been through Emergency medicine training and obtained membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (UK). She has extensive experience working in emergency departments and across a variety of specialties, including pediatric, orthopedics, surgery, geriatrics, and gynecology both in Hong Kong and Australia.<\/p>\n

She believes in holistic patient care and enjoys building meaningful connections with people to support them in achieving their best health. The diverse training has given her a broad clinical perspective and the ability to manage a wide range of medical concerns with compassion and confidence.<\/p>\n
