Preventative
Health Assessments
Gladstone Medical Centre conducts annual health assessments for physical, psychological and social well being. We will then provide you with education and advice for preventative measures.
Your assessment results will be discussed with you. Preventative health assessments are needed to put in measures to prevent common medical conditions before they occur.
What is checked as part of a preventative health assessment varies, depending on your age. We look at your overall health and risk factors.
We may provide you with a personalised healthcare plan and referrals to other medical practitioners if needed.
Home Visits
Home visits are available for regular patients whose medical condition prevents them from attending the surgery.
Doctors may be contacted by phone during normal surgery hours. A message will be taken when the doctor is with another patient.
In an emergency please notify the receptionist who will transfer the call immediately.
